Privacy Policy

Overview

Everyday Tools Hub is a static utility website. Most tools are designed to run directly in your browser so you can complete small tasks without creating an account or uploading files. This policy explains what data may be processed, when third-party services are used, and how future advertising or analytics may affect privacy.

Information processed locally

Text entered into the text counter, password settings, generated passwords, unit values, BMI inputs, dates, color values, encryption passphrases, encrypted text, and decrypted text are processed in your browser. The current static site does not intentionally upload, store, sell, or share those values.

Because these tools run in your own browser, refreshing the page or closing the tab may clear the current input. You are responsible for saving any result you want to keep.

Third-party API requests

The exchange rate converter sends selected currency codes, such as USD and CNY, to the Frankfurter public API to retrieve a reference exchange rate. The request is needed to provide live rate data. The exchange rate tool does not send text notes, passwords, passphrases, encrypted text, BMI values, or other unrelated tool inputs.

Third-party API providers may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser headers, and the requested URL according to their own policies.

Cookies, analytics, and logs

The current local static version does not include account login cookies or third-party analytics scripts. It may use browser storage to remember cookie consent choices. A deployed website may still generate standard server logs through the hosting provider, such as request time, IP address, user agent, referring page, and requested URL. These logs are commonly used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and basic traffic analysis.

For more detail about cookie categories, choices, and future advertising or analytics use, please read the Cookie Notice.

Advertising

If third-party ads are displayed, advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Users can manage cookies through browser settings and, where available, through the privacy controls provided by the advertising platform.

Ad providers may process data under their own privacy policies. This site should not be used to enter highly sensitive personal information into tools when ad or tracking scripts are present.

Security

We aim to keep the site lightweight and minimize data transfer. However, no website, browser, network, or hosting environment can be guaranteed perfectly secure. For sensitive data, use trusted professional tools and avoid entering information on shared or untrusted devices.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future feature, please contact us so it can be reviewed.

Your choices

You can avoid third-party API requests by not using the exchange rate tool. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also avoid saving tool outputs in the browser by clearing fields before closing the page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when tools, APIs, advertising, analytics, hosting, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the page indicates the latest revision.
